Turin:

Marcello Lippi, one of the most successful coaches in Italian football, announced on Thursday that he will leave Series A Champions Juventus at the end of the season. The 56 year-old's departure from Juve was not entirely unexpected, with a disappointing campaign following last year's defeat at the hands of AC Milan in the Champions' League final. However, Lippi still has a year left on his contract and despite the denials, will surely become the coaching target of several European clubs before the start of next season. (AP)
