The six-nation LG Cup tournament being played in Vietnam saw the Indian football team draw its first match. India, placed in Group B, drew 2-2 with Singapore in the opening game while hosts Vietnam got off to a flying start beating Indonesia 3-1. This is the first real test in the competitive field for the Indian football team preparing for the Asian Games to be held in Busan, Korea, next month.
