FC Porto, Liverpool draw 1-1

The UEFA Champions League has kicked off with eight matches spread across eight countries.
Liverpool, five times European Champions and runner-up last season, came home from Portugal with a 1-1 draw against FC Porto in a Group A clash.
The hosts took the lead in the eighth minute through Argentine international Lucho Gonzalez converting a spot-kick.
But Dirk Kuty saved Liverpool and Manager Rafael Benitez blushes with an equaliser in the 17th minute.
The Reds played the last half-an-hour of the match with just 10 men after Jermaine Pennant was sent off after picking up a second yellow card.
