Braga, who led Internacional to the Copa Libertadores title and FIFA's world club title last year, did not disclose his next team in Europe.
During his announcement on Tuesday, Braga said he received an offer of "unbelievable figures."
Internacional has struggled since upsetting FC Barcelona 1-0 in the Club World Cup final in December.
This year, the Brazilian team was eliminated from the Rio Grande do Sul Brazilian state championship and from the first stage of the Copa Libertadores.
Former player Alexandre Gallo, Oswaldo Alvarez known as Vadao and Geninho were among the candidates expected to replace Braga.
