Birmingham: Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill unveiled his two latest signings, strikers Ashley Young and John Carew, in Birmingham on Thursday. Young completed his move from fellow English Premier League club Watford, after passing a medical on Tuesday. The England Under-21 international becomes O'Neill's third January capture after they beat several other Premier League teams to his signature. Young's arrival followed that of Norwegian international striker Carew and full-back Phil Bardsley. Carew joined Villa in a swap deal from Olympique Lyon for Milan Baros on Monday, while Bardsley has joined the 1982 European champions on loan from Manchester United.
