Amsterdam:

Strikers Yannis Anastasiou and Mauro Roasales and defenders Maxwell and Julien Escude scored a goal apiece to lead Ajax to a four-one win over struggling RBC Roosendaal at the Amsterdam Arena on Saturday. As a result, Ajax moved into third place in the league, one point above arch-rivals Feyenoord, who conceded two goals in the final 16 minutes in a 2-2 draw at SC Heerenveen, but 10 below the runaway leaders PSV Eindhoven. The victory gave Ajax nine goals in two games against the bottom two clubs in the Dutch Eredivisie - scant consolation in a week that saw their UEFA Champions League hopes end. (AP)
