Southampton remain in the Premier League relegation zone after a 1-1 draw against Swansea at St. Mary's Stadium on Saturday.
The Saints came into the game having given up 11 points from winning positions this season and again failed to hold a lead it got courtesy of midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, who converted a ball from Rickie Lambert with a header from close range in the 64th minute.
Southampton's defensive frailty - the Saints had conceded 28 goals in the first 10 games of the campaign to equal a Premier League record set by Barnsley in 1997 - was again apparent as the home side was pegged back when Swansea winger Nathan Dyer scored the equalizer in the 73rd with a neat finish from the edge of the penalty area.
The point moves the home side up to 19th place with five points while Swansea remains 11th on 13 points.
