Nuno Gomes completes Blackburn Rovers move
Portugal striker Nuno Gomes has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer, the English club confirmed on Tuesday.

Portugal striker Nuno Gomes has signed for Blackburn Rovers on a free transfer, the English club confirmed on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old has agreed a two-year deal to become the third signing of the summer for the club, who were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Gomes, who was released by Sporting Braga at the end of last season, will join midfielder Danny Murphy and striker Leon Best in signing for Rovers after receiving international clearance.
Gomes has 79 caps for Portugal, scoring 29 times.
He played for Boavista and Benfica before earning a 17 million euro move to Fiorentina in Italy.
He later returned to Benfica and then joined Braga, scoring six times in 20 outings last term.
