Matej Vydra scored a late equaliser to give West Bromwich Albion a 1-1 draw against Hull in the Premier League in caretaker manager Keith Downing's first home game in charge.
Jake Livermore had given Hull the lead by finishing off a counterattack in the 28th minute, but Vydra equalized in the 86th with his first goal for the club to end a four-game losing streak in the league for the Baggies. The Czech striker is on loan from Udinese.
Manager Steve Clarke was fired last weekend because of the poor run, and the team is still only three points above the relegation zone. Hull is another three points above it, in 12th place.
