11.4 OUT! CAUGHT! Gayle's innings comes to an end. And maybe his international career as well. A standing ovation as he walks off. Not only that, all the Indian players walk upto him, shake his hand and congratulate him as he walks off. A nice gesture as by the Indian players, also speaks a lot about Gayle and shows what a legend he has been. He was at his destructive best today. Not only I, but many out there would have hoped for him to continue but all good things must come to an end right? He though has done his job. Khaleel gets his first. A much-needed wicket for the youngster as he was being hit to all ends of the park. This will really make him feel good as he has got the man who was hitting him to all ends of the park. He bowls another ball which is slightly short and outside off. Gayle slaps it hard but flat towards mid off. Kohli there dives forward and takes it. Two wickets in quick succession for India. Both the openers who were going great are back. 121/2

Evin Lewis | 43 | 29 | 5 | 3 | 148.27 |
c Shikhar Dhawan b Yuzvendra Chahal
10.5 OUT! In the air... taken! Chahal has provided the breakthrough, like he has done so many times in the past. The stand which was taking the game away from India has been broken. The Indian fans and the players will breathe a small sigh of relief here. Lewis continues to play the attacking mode. he goes for the slog sweep but picks the wrong ball. It is the googly, Lewis looks to go against the turn but only manages a top edge. It goes high up in the air towards long on. Dhawan settles under it and takes it. End of an entertaining innings by Lewis and a wonderful partnership. India though now have a chance to pull things back a little. 115/1

Shai Hope Wk | 24 | 52 | 1 | 0 | 46.15 |
b Ravindra Jadeja
25.4 OUT! BOWLED 'EM! This is top class stuff from the Indian bowlers. It was Shami in the last over and Jadeja in this one. The tight bowling has paid dividends here. He keeps firing it on the stumps. This time though the length is fuller. Hope does not read it, he goes back and looks to work it on the leg side. Misses and the stumps are shattered. Both the set batters back in the hut. India fighting their way back into the game here. 171/4

Shimron Hetmyer | 25 | 32 | 1 | 0 | 78.12 |
b Mohammed Shami
24.5 OUT! TIMBER! Top, top bowling from Shami. Excellent. He probably brought all his experience into play here. He kept bowling pacey deliveries and suddenly bowls a slower one on off. Hetmyer swings across the line. He is way too early in the shot, misses and the ball hits the off pole. It has not been a good start for West Indies after the break. 171/3

Nicholas Pooran | 30 | 16 | 1 | 3 | 187.5 |
c sub b Mohammed Shami
30.1 OUT! Straight to the man! This is a big, big wicket as Pooran was really striking it well out there. Shami strikes once again. A soft dismissal to be honest and Pooran will be very disappointed. Shami bowls it fuller and around the leg stump. Pooran half-heartedly flicks it. He does not get a lot of power behind it and hence, not even the distance. It goes towards Manish Pandey, the sub, at long on who takes it. A good cameo from Pooran comes to an end but West Indies would have loved for him to stay out there. He though has provided the much-needed impetus they needed after the break. 211/5

Jason Holder C | 14 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 70 |
c Virat Kohli b Khaleel Ahmed
32.5 OUT! Holder holes out! Khaleel gets another one! He bowls another slower one and once again the line is the key here. It is outside off. Holder looks to drag it over the long on fielder but hits it flat and straight to him. Kohli makes no mistake. India managing to finish strongly here. 221/6

|||||
Carlos Brathwaite | 16 | 14 | 1 | 1 | 114.28 |
c Rishabh Pant b Khaleel Ahmed
34.4 OUT! In the air... taken! A very good catch by Pant there. Makes amends for the dropped catch of Brathwaite early on. However, not after he struck a couple of boundaries. Khaleel goes length again and it is another slower one. Brathwaite looks to go big on the leg side but gets a top edge. It goes high up in the air, Rishabh Pant runs back, calls for it and takes a well-judged catch. Also, it was not easy as he had only one glove on. Timely wicket again as Brathwaite had started to find the boundaries. 236/7

run out (Fabian Allen)
2.4 OUT! He indeed is! A much-needed breakthrough for West Indies and it has come in the form of a run out. The last thing India wanted and it is the last way Rohit would have wanted to get out. There was a run to be honest. This is a shortish ball outside off, Dhawan guides it towards backward point. Rohit wants a run but seeing the diving stop of Allen, Dhawan sends him back. Rohit is almost halfway down the wicket. He now turns and tries to get back in. Allen picks the ball up and throws it to the bowler who collects it and dislodges the bails. The umpire takes it upstairs. Relays roll in and they show Rohit's dive does not save him. A big wicket for West Indies as Rohit was looking good in the few balls he faced. 230 more needed. 25/1

Shikhar Dhawan | 36 | 36 | 5 | 0 | 100 |
c Keemo Paul b Fabian Allen
12.2 OUT! In the air... Keemo Paul does not look very confident under it, he though takes it in the end. A good, good catch and the pressure built by West Indies in the last few overs has paid off. Dhawan looks to take on the left-arm spinner as he comes down the track. Tries to go over the mid off fielder but only manages to hit it high up in the air as he does not get to the pitch of the ball. Paul initially backtracks but then turns and runs backwards, takes a nice catch. A threatening stand comes to an end. West Indies back in the game. 164 needed in 136. 91/2

12.4 OUT! This is just unbelievable! Pant has once again thrown it away and not for the first time. India now in big trouble here. What was he trying to do here! The first ball he faces he comes down the track and looks to whip it over the leg side. The ball goes on with the angle and hence a leading edge which goes high up in the air. Paul takes another catch, this time by backtracking. Kohli has a disappointed look on his face and rightly so. A first-baller for Pant. 92/3

Shreyas Iyer | 65 | 41 | 3 | 5 | 158.53 |
c Jason Holder b Kemar Roach
28.2 OUT! Iyer has thrown it away in the attempt to end it early! He though has done his job. End of a brilliant innings by the young man. Came in at a tough time but has taken India to the brink of victory along with his captain. He though will be disappointed that he is not there till the end. Roach bowls this fuller and on off, it sticks in the surface. Iyer does not time his loft and it goes straight to Holder at long off. End of a match-winning 120-run stand. West Indies have a sniff here. 212/4
