Shikhar Dhawan continued his form from the Champions trophy to stroke an elegant 87 while comeback man Ajinkya Rahane utilized the opportunity to conjure a fifty of his own. The pair put on 132 for the first wicket before the Windies struck thrice for just 53 runs to slow things down. Skipper Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni were planning to open up but instead, the heavens opened up to play spoilsport. Devendra Bishoo and Jason Holder were tidy for the hosts.
