Imran Tahir is named the Man of the Match for his superb 4-wicket spell. That's all from this game. The England vs Sri Lanka match is coming up next, so don't go anywhere.
Imran Tahir was extremely effective and got four crucial wickets. South Africa have had to battle it out through their skins and Netherlands can be proud of their performance though. But still, it was theirs to be lost and they would be totally gutted today. There was a spectacularly under-rated moment when AB de Villiers had saved five runs at the ropes where probably, majority of the fielders in the world would probably have conceded a six. The victory margin is 6 runs and that's how the margin of error is in this format.
What a match! Netherlands were excellent in their chase with Stephan Myburgh providing a rollicking start of 51 off just 28 balls. They were blazing away, in spite of losing wickets. But at 12.5, Steyn got rid of Ben Cooper when the Cooper brothers got together and from there on, it was just downhill for Netherlands.
to Timm van der Gugten
OUT! SOUTH AFRICA WIN BY 6 RUNS! Oh boy, what a South African finish this has been by Netherlands. They were cruising along in the chase but have lost their way after being 80/1 at a stage. A short ball, van der Gugten tries to loft it to third man but gets a faint edge through to Quinton de Kock. South Africa celebrate, and it's been a couple of hard-earned victories for them.
Good length, tucked towards square leg. Malik seems to be injured as he was not interested for the easy available single.
to Ahsan Malik
Short of a length outside off, guided down to third man for a single.
A low full toss outside off, steered away through covers just for a single.
Beuran Hendricks to bowl the 19th over....
Lonwabo Tsotsobe to Timm van der Gugten
A Yorker, dug out through covers for a single. 9 needed off 12 balls....
STEYN PUTS DOWN A TOUGH CHANCE! A short of a length ball, van der Gugten hoicks it up massively in the air. Steyn runs in from the mid-wicket ropes, puts in a dive but doesn't get hold of it. Two crucial runs...
Ahsan Malik is the last man in.
Lonwabo Tsotsobe to Mudassar Bukhari
OUT! This is harakari from Netherlands! There was absolutely no need for it. A short delivery, Bukhari tries to pull it away but only gets a high top edge towards long on. Miller runs in and takes it well. Netherlands nine down!
Good length delivery, lofted down to long on for a single.
Good length and wide, Bukhari smashes it down to mid off. Faf du Plessis was there in a flash with a dive and hurls a throw to Tsotsobe who was very sloppy there. Could have been a run-out, could have been a boundary if not for Faf.
Tsotsobe to bowl his final over.
Short of a length and just outside off, Bukhari tries to slash but misses.
Dale Steyn to Timm van der Gugten
Short of a length delivery, van der Gugten goes after it but misses it.
Short and following the batsman, van der Gugten was pretty early in getting under it.
Dale Steyn to Mudassar Bukhari
Full and slow on middle, chipped down nicely through mid on and they run extremely well to take three runs as Albie pulls it back at the ropes. 14 needed off 20 now.
A sharp bouncer this time, 147 kph, Bukhari tries to get under it but gets a bit of a knock on the body.
