Thanks the crowd for coming to support them, says he knows his role, he comes down the order, so it's his job to see the team through. Jokes that he may look calm, but he is nervous deep down. Admits he enjoys every time Australia win.
Michael Clarke - Clarke calls Faulkner as the new Michael Bevan. Says he is disappointed that no one from the top order converted their starts. Hails Maxwell as a special player who can play shots not many can, they need to keep playing with confidence. Calls the England team a good one and accepts that they need to play well to beat them. Says he is happy that the youngsters are performing. Credits Faulkner again for his majestic knock.
Alastair Cook - Starts off saying it took a brilliant knock from Faulkner to defeat them. Says they did well, they were on top for the major part of the game but for the last partnership. Admits, captaincy is a tough job. Says he is happy with the way the team stuck in and hopes they come back well for the next match.

Australia got off to a poor start, losing Finch for a duck, thanks to a stunner from Ballance, Jordan took an even better one to dismiss Warner. Root struck twice, to dismiss Clarke and then Marsh, who played well for his fifty. Haddin and Maxwell had an entertaining stand but could not see them through. Maxwell too scored an entertaining fifty.
England came back brilliantly in their batting with Morgan and Buttler playing magnificently in the 113-run stand between them. Morgan batted brilliantly to get to his sixth hundred. His knock set up the big total for them. Buttler and Bell contributed well too.
WOW! 'GABBA erupts! What a finish, the players run onto the field! Faulkner pumps his fist as he hits the winning runs. The Australians in the dressing room go bonkers.
