Keith Mbusi Dabengwa Profile

Keith Mbusi Dabengwa is a Zimbabwean cricketer born in Bulawayo.

Dabengwa is one of the more useful all-rounders in Zimbabwe, who made his first class debut for Matabeleland in 2000, taking 5 for 76. He was then chosen for the CFX Academy and later was the named student of the year. It was finally in 2004-05 that he got selected in Zimbabwe A squad for their tours of Namibia and Bangladesh. In his very match he took a five wicket haul and scored a fifty.

Soon he scored his highest first class score of and this got him selected in the national squad. He made his Test debut against New Zealand in Bulawayo, took a couple of wickets and scoring 21 runs. He played in the two Tests on India's tour to Zimbabwe and also in a tri Series with India and New Zealand where he made his debut as a super sub against India in Harare. He was chosen in the 2007 World Cup squad, but did not make it to the final XI in any of the matches. In one Logan Cup match in 2007 he took his career best innings figures of 7 for 1. This is a record for the least runs conceded while taking seven wickets.
