Another uncapped youngster, Shreyas Gopal is one of many upcoming cricketers from the domestic circuit in India. A leg spinner and a handy lower-order batsman, Gopal has played a handful of First Class games for Karnataka after his debut in 2013. An impressive Ranji season for Karnataka saw him earn a contract with the Mumbai franchise for the 2014 edition of the Indian T20 League.
Things weren't rosy for him in the Indian T20 League with limited opportunities but since Rajasthan had acquired him in 2018, the leggie started to get more opportunities. The biggest success of his League career came when he bagged a hat-trick against Bangalore in 2019 which included the wickets of Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Marcus Stoinis.
