Chetan Sharma was on Thursday named the chairman of the senior men's national selection panel by the BCCI. Abey Kuruvilla and Debashish Mohanty were also added to the panel.

A new Cricket Advistory Committee (CAC) will be formed at the BCCI's Annual General Meeting (AGM), said a PTI report. CAC will pick the national selectors ahead of England's tour to India in February-March.

The BCCI will have its Annual General meeting in Mumbai today to select a new panel of senior selectors for the Indian cricket team. The five zones have already told the BCCI what their preferences are. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 12 noon.

The Indian cricket board on Tuesday, felicitated the triumphant Indian Under 19 World Cup winning team at a suburban hotel here after their arrival in the afternoon and the players were awarded a cheque of Rs 20 lakh each by the BCCI.
