Ethan O’Reilly made his first-class debut for the Easterns Province, but later joined Gauteng for better prospects. A right-arm fast bowler, O’Reilly became an integral part of the Lions unit in 2009-10 and has been notching higher ranks in the team since then. O’Reilly has the ability to generate decent pace, along with swing and can also bowl good bouncers. He was included in the Lions T20 squad for the 2012 Champions League T20 to be held in South Africa.
