Karim Sadiq is aright-hand batsman and a right-arm offbreak bowler. He occasionally does wicket-keeping for the national team as well. Sadiq played an important role for their side's promotion to Division Two which helped them to take part in the 2009 ICC World Cup Qualifiers.
Sadiq made his first-class debut against Ireland in January 2010. He made his T20I debut against Ireland later in the Sri Lanka Associates T20 Series. The right-hander was named in Afghanistan's squad for the 2010 ICC World T20 after his crucial performance in the World T20 Qualifiers. Sadiq played for the Afghan Cheetahs team in the Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup 2011/12.
