Abbas bowls this length ball outside off, Hossain Shanto goes for the cut shot away from his body. All he manages is, an outside edge which goes straight to the keeper. Rizwan behind the wickets pouches it comfortably. The 33-run stand is broken and Pakistan start the session brightly.  95/4

21.5 OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! See, this is what happens if you keep Free Hit in one format after a no ball and not in another. Not justifying Mominul, but could that thought have come in his mind? Or did we just jinx him? Do not check 21.2 if you feel we did not jinx him. Full and outside off, Haque looks to drive but does not go too far forward. All he manages is a thick outside edge, which is snapped by the keeper Rizwan. Normally, the captain would have left it alone. But he went after this one. 40.3 OUT! Caught! A stunner at second slip by Asad Shafiq! Afridi bags his third and it is the massive wicket of Mahmudullah. Afridi dishes out a fuller ball outside off, Mahmudullah this time does not have patience, he goes chasing after it and tries to drive. The ball takes the outside edge and flies to the right of second slip quickly. Shafiq throws himself to that side and catches it terrifically. 81.2 OUT! CAUGHT! It has taken the gloves and Naseem Shah gets his first wicket. After a lot of confusion, the umpire gives it out courtesy the third umpire. This is an excellent ball from Naseem Shah. Good length ball on middle, Mithun looks to defend but it seems to have gone off the bat to the keeper. The Pakistan players appeal but Nigel Llong tells them to wait and he asks the square leg umpire whether it is a clean catch. After a delay, Llong declares it not out. Azhar Ali, the Pakistan skipper is not happy and he opts for the review. The Ultra Edge rolls in and it shows that it has gone off the gloves to the keeper. Excellent review from Pakistan. They are ecstatic and they have every right to be.  233/9

55.3 OUT! LBW! What a masterful review from Pakistan. Nigel Llong has to reverse his decision once again. That never looked to be happening to the naked eye but the partnership-breaker has struck. A full ball down leg, Das goes for the sweep but fails to connect. He gets hit on the pads and the Pakistani players make an appeal. The umpire shows no interest. Rizwan, Pakistan skipper Azhar Ali and the bowler get together and after a quick chat, they take the decision upstairs. Time for the replay. Front foot is fine and there is no bat involvement which is confirmed by the Ultra Edge. Now, time for the Ball Tracker, pitched in line and hitting the leg pole, which means three reds it is. 78.5 OUT! CAUGHT! After all the hard work put in by Islam, he plays a poor shot to get himself back to the pavilion. Sohail proves to be the partnership-breaker yet again. 82.5 OUT! RUN OUT! Comical way to end the innings. Abu Jayed's bat got stuck in the ground and BANGLADESH ARE ALL OUT FOR 233. Full delivery on middle. Jayed flicks it to mid on and takes off for a single. Ebadot Hossain is not interested as he sends Jayed back. Abbas picks up the ball and then has a shy at the keeper's end. He hits and the Pakistan players are confident that Abu is out of his crease. The third umpire is called and the replays show that Jayed's bat got stuck in the ground just before he entered the crease. Out is the signal on the big screen and the players make their way off the field.  233/10

53.3 OUT! TIMBER! Bangladesh have struck gold here at the right time. It is that man Taijul Islam again. He bowls a flighted indipper on middle and leg, Masood goes for the flick but the ball dips onto him and goes between the bat and the pad to clatter into the middle and leg poles. A brilliant innings from Shan Masood comes to an end.  205/3

1.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Body blow to Pakistan! Their in-form batsman is walking back to the pavilion. Bangladesh get off to a dream start. Abu Jayed keeps it a bit short this time and bowls it wide outside off. He tempts Abid Ali to go for it. The young man there gets tempted by the width and goes for the cut. He fails to middle it and the ball grazes the outside edge to settle well into the gloves of Liton Das. Pakistan trail by 231.  2/1

22.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Just as we thought that Pakistan will go into Lunch with just one dent to their batting order, Abu Jayed gives another one. He keeps it short and wide outside off, Azhar Ali gets overconfident after hitting the boundary on the first ball of the over. He goes for the cut through point. He is not in a position to play and can only edge it behind towards first slip where Najmul Hossain Shanto takes the catch. Pakistan skipper departs once again after getting a start.  93/2

88.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Like Day 2, Abu Jayed strikes in his first over of Day 3 too. It is Pakistan's heartthrob, Babar Azam who takes the long walk back. Jayed bowls one full and the ball seams away off the surface. Babar gets sucked into the shot. He goes to follow it as he was confused as to play at it or leave it and in the process he could only get a thick outside edge that flies towards the slips. Mohammad Mithun at first slip was waiting for it and when it came he just gobbles it up with ease. A good knock from Azam comes to an end and also the 137-run stand is broken.  342/4

It seems that they are bowling with a plan here. They have kept it tight and have not given any loose balls. Hossain bowls one on a length and outside off, the ball comes slightly in off the surface. Shafiq looks to run it fine down to third man but he only manages to get a faint inside edge and the ball goes to the left of the keeper where Liton Das moves to that side and takes it. Starts with a short ball outside off, Rizwan goes for the pull but he fails to time that well and gets a top edge on it. The ball also did not rise as the batter would have expected. 110.2 OUT! LBW! Three reds and Bangladesh retain their review. Yasir Shah takes the review but it does not help him though. Full delivery and angling on middle, Shah looks to flick but gets hit on the pads. There is an appeal from the bowler but the umpire shakes his head. Bangladesh immediately take the review. The replays roll in and Rubel is fine with his front foot. Now we check if there is bat involved as Ultra Edge comes in and shows there is no bat involved. Finally, the Ball Tracker comes in and shows that the ball is going on to hit the middle and leg stumps.  415/7

112.5 OUT! LBW! Umpire's call and Shaheen Afridi takes a long walk back. Bangladesh continue their merry work from the first session. Hossain is the one who gets a wicket now. He bowls one on a good length around off, the ball comes a long way with the angle into the batter. Afridi looks to defend it off the back foot but gets hit on the pads. The bowler appeals for lbw and the umpire raises his finger. Shaheen straightaway takes the review. The replays roll in and Hossain is well inside the popping crease, Ultra Edge then shows there is no bat involved. Finally, Ball Tracker comes in and shows that it is umpire's call on impact and also the wickets. The ball clips the top of middle stump. Pakistan are falling like nine pins here. 122.5 OUT! RUN OUT! Naseem Shah is the man there. With this, Pakistan innings comes to an end. Short ball on off, Naseem defends it to point off the back foot. He is a bit lazy in getting behind the line as Saif Hassan there spots it and scores a direct hit at the striker's end. It is referred upstairs and what we see is Naseem was lazy in getting his foot down in time and is caught short there. PAKISTAN ALL OUT FOR 445! LEAD BY 212!  445/10

15.5 OUT! LBW! Bangladesh lose their experienced campaigner Tamim Iqbal. The leg spinner consumes the batter here. Iqbal looks to flick this leg spinner to the leg side but completely gets beaten and is rapped flush on the pads. The bowler goes up in appeal and the umpire gives his verdict by raising his finger. Tamim was looking to overpower Yasir Shah but the bowler gets the better of him.  53/2

Full and angling on middle, Shanto looks to flick it but misses the ball completely there. He gets rapped on the pads and there is an appeal from the bowler. The umpire shakes his head. Azhar Ali takes the review after a bit of a discussion and the replays roll in. Naseem is fine on the front foot. Now Ultra Edge comes in and there is no bat involved. Now Ball Tracker comes in and it shows three reds! The ball is projected to hit the leg stump. Mominul asks Nigel Llong as to how is that out - to which, Llong replies, 'I don't know, mate.' A full ball, outside off, swinging in, Mominul looked to flick but was missed and was hit on the pads. Afridi appealed, umpire Gaffaney thought for a while and then raised his finger. Mominul immediately reviewed, indicating to his partner that there was bat involved. Now, here comes the controversy. Umpire Erasmus checks the Ultra Edge and it is not exactly clear whether the ball has hit the pad first and then the bat or vice versa. The bat has definitely hit the pad. But umpire Erasmus is convinced within a couple of looks that the ball has not hit the bat at all. Goes for the Ball Tracker and that shows the ball to be crashing into leg stump. Mominul is not amused but has to walk back. Afridi strikes in his very first over of Monday. Bangladesh still trail by 82.  130/7

40.5 OUT! LBW! Two in two! Mominul does not get to face any ball as long as Taijul was there. True. But that is because he lasts only one ball! What a delivery to the tail-ender. His innings ends even before it starts and Naseem has his tail up. The yorker, outside off, swinging back in, Taijul looks to dig it out but misses. He is hit on the pads and up goes Nigel Llong's finger! Naseem is on a hat-trick!  124/4

41 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Three in three for Naseem and he is ecstatic! Youngest ever to take a Test hat-trick. Take a bow, young lad. But a poor shot from the former skipper. Full and wide outside off, could have been left alone but Mahmudullah goes after it. All he manages is a thick outside edge which goes straight to first slip where Haris Sohail completes the formalities! The young lad is running wildly and his teammates are struggling to catch up with him. Well bowled. The complexion of this day has changed in just 5 minutes.  124/5

44.5 OUT! Castled! Another one goes. Flatter and around off, Mithun looks to pull it but the ball skids on and beats him. It goes beneath his bat and crashes onto the middle stump.  126/6

60.4 OUT! LBW! The decision is overturned against Nigel Llong again. 6th time in this Test. Full and around leg, Das looked to sweep but missed and was hit on the pads. Yasir appealed but for some reason, Llong did not raise his finger. Azhar Ali immediately went for the review and Ball Tracker showed the ball to be pitching in line of leg stump and then going straight on to hit the leg stump. Liton's fighting innings ends. He would have wished to at least help Bangladesh avoid the innings defeat. The deficit is now 47.  165/9

57.5 OUT! LBW! Abbas breaks the stubborn stand. His biggest strength is his accuracy and that helps him immensely. A length ball, outside off, Rubel looks to defend but the ball comes back in a long way and hits the batsman on his pads. Abbas appeals and umpire Gaffaney raises his finger. There is a discussion between the batsmen and Das agrees for the review request to be taken. But the 15 seconds are done by then and Rubel is timed out. So he is not allowed the review.
