That is it from this game then! There is another game going on between the Thunder and the Strikers. You can catch all the action from it by switching tabs. Until next time, goodbye and take care!
Joe Clarke has been awarded the MAN OF THE MATCH for his brilliant knock!
... PRESENTATION TIME ...
For Hobart, a few of their batters got off to starts but none managed to go big and that is what thye needed chasing such a target! Also, they will be quite disappointed with how David went about his innings. Very uncharacteristic from him. They needed him to go big early on but he left it quite late. Also, the decision of taking Power Surge came quite late. To be honest, Hobart just never looked up for this game.
That is a massive win for the Stars! Clearly, the knock from Joe Clarke was the difference between the two sides. On a wicket which seemed tough, he just batted with the utmost ease, scored a ton and took his side to a total we felt was above par and then the bowling attack delivered. The key for the Stars was, they never let Hobart score freely and managed to take wickets when needed. Wood and Zampa were brilliant but they were really well supported by Nathan Coulter-Nile and Beau Webster. The latter adjusted to the conditions and was excellent. Boult had a day off but the others covered for him.
