That is it from this game. Hyderabad with this dominant win move to third in the points table. Punjab have a lot to ponder upon as they find themselves struggling at the last place in the points table. The league action continues on 9th October, Friday as Rajasthan take on Delhi. That promises to be a fascinating clash as it will be played at the run-fest ground of the season, Sharjah. That game begins at 1800 local (1400 GMT). We hope to see you then. Till then, goodbye and take care!
For his brilliant batting display, Jonny Bairstow is named the Man of the Match. Bairstow says he is pleased with the performance and he was pleased he could go on till the 14th over and that was key. States Warner is a quality player and it was important for them to come good. Mentions he is happy with the way he is striking it, the pitch and the dimensions here are different to the ones in India. Adds even the climate here is different. Ends by saying it is tricky keeping to Rashid Khan but he enjoys it.
Hyderabad skipper, David Warner, says he got nervous when Pooran was playing and he always regarded him as a very good player. States he was fortunate to play with him in Bangladesh and it is always worrying to see him strike like that. Credits the way Rashid bowled and he is lucky he has a bowler like him. Mentions having Bhuvneshwar Kumar out is a big loss but it is an opportunity for the others to step up. Admits he loves batting with Bairstow and it is going well with them. Ends by saying they were looking to go after the bowlers at the start and that worked with them. Finishes by saying the next game is a day game and he is looking forward to it.
Rashid Khan is caught down for a chat. Rashid says losing Marsh and Bhuvi is a big blow but feels they have a good combination and thinks it is important that people take responsibility and they are doing it in this team so he is happy. Rashid says that the plan was simple and tells the plan was to score 180-185 and anything above would have been good. Tells Warner said to enjoy their bowling and give their all in the field. Tells Najeeb Tarakai was a good friend of all his Afghanistan teammates and he is very sad and shocked by the news of his passing away.
Punjab skipper, KL Rahul says that if they lose wickets in the Powerplay it was always going to be tough especially with only 6 batters. Tells losing Mayank was tough and tells that whatever they hit in the air found the fielder. Credits the bowlers for pulling things back in the death and states it as a positive. Says Pooran is batting really well and it is a joy to watch him bat. Tells if they get a decent start up front they know Nicholas can do the job. States Bishnoi has not been afraid whenever he has asked him to bowl and adds that it is a joy to watch a youngster taking responsibility. Tells everyone is working hard and are in a good head space but feels sometimes it does not come off and one needs to be patient and not panic and back them.
The Hyderabad bowling was very good! However, their fifth bowler did take a pounding. Sharma did take the wicket of Rahul but he along with Samad went for above 40 in their 2 overs. However, the rest were excellent, especially Rashid who is back to his best. The three pacers were also impressive and hence, those two overs did not make a lot of difference. A very complete performance from Hyderabad and Warner will be very pleased.
A thumping win for Hyderabad! It was never in doubt to be honest after they scored 200 courtesy Bairstow and Warner. The former was the mainstay but it is their partnership which took them to that total. Also, chasing such a big total, Punjab also needed a good start from their openers who have been so influential for them but that was not the case. Also, they were three down even before they crossed 60. They looked down and out at that time but Pooran came out all guns blazing. He got Punjab back in the game single-handedly. He though failed to get support at the other end and to chase this kind of a target alone, is an improbable one.

T Natarajan To Arshdeep Singh OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! That is it! Comprehensive win for Hyderabad and Natarajan finishes with two wickets. Full around off, Arshdeep hits it uppishly straight to Warner at mid off. Too safe a pair of hands to drop those. HYDERABAD WIN BY 69 RUNS!

T Natarajan To Sheldon Cottrell OUT!
OUT! The sweet sound of Timber! First wicket for Natarajan in this innings! A perfect yorker on middle and off, it would trouble any top batsman so it is too good for a number 11. Cottrell is slow to get his bat down and Natarajan strikes. Just a wicket away are Hyderabad.

Full around off, Bishnoi runs it down to third man for a single.
Rashid Khan is done from this end so who does Warner call now to do the formalities? It is T Natarajan.

Rashid Khan To Mohammed Shami OUT!
OUT! LBW! Two in two for Rashid and he finishes with a double wicket maiden to finish with the figures of 4-1-12-3. Googly on off, Shami looks to defend but misses and gets hit on the pad. The ball hits him on the pad. An appeal follows and the umpire has no qualms raising his finger. Shami looks around for a review but Punjab do not have any left.
Mohammed Shami is the new man in.

Rashid Khan To Nicholas Pooran OUT!
OUT! CAUGHT! GAME! SET! MATCH! - Hyderabad! The Afghan superstar does the trick and Warner's ploy to bowl his trump card to the left hander has paid its dividend. Short and spinning away from Nicholas Pooran. He punches it uppishly but straight to cover. Khaleel there makes no mistake and takes the catch and one can also say he takes the match. Did not understand the ploy not to take a single and once you get negative in this game it pays off badly and that is what has happened.

Rashid Khan To Nicholas Pooran
OH! Was there an edge? Quicker around off, Pooran looks to defend but the ball spins in and goes between his bat and pad. Bairstow behind fails to take it cleanly.
DRINKS! P for Punjab, P for Pooran! That is the only hope for the Men in Red. They need 76 off 36 and Pooran is batting at 77 off 32 balls so he can do it but the bigger question is can anyone provide him support? Hyderabad need one wicket, Nicholas Pooran but that is easier said than done as he has looked at his blistering best tonight. Can Punjab and Pooran pull off this miraculous heist?

Khaleel Ahmed To Mujeeb Ur Rahman OUT!
OUT! So out is how it stays and Mujeeb walks back and takes the only review along with him. Not sure why he reviewed there when he was willingly walking back after the initiall referral. Coming to the ball now. It is a full one outside off, Mujeeb looks to jam it out but there is a noise as the ball passes the bal. Bairstow takes it and both the bowler and the keeper appeal. The umpire does not make any decision. He waits to see if Hyderabad review but they don't. The umpire now takes it upstaurs to check if it is a bump ball. Replays roll in and they show it is not a bump ball and OUT flashes on the bigscreen. Mujeeb start walking back but he has been asked to review it from the pavillion. He does so but Snicko shows there is an edge. He eventually has to walk back.
