That is it from this game! Delhi get the 2 points. The next match is between Punjab and Kolkata on 26th April 2021 in Ahmedabad. Do join us for that at 1930 local (1400 GMT). Till then, take care and cheers!
Shikhar Dhawan (talking on behalf of Pant who is unwell) says that it should not have gone to the Super Over as they should have won it easily. Adds that the two boundaries in Avesh Khan's over cost them a little at that time but that's a part of the game. Mentions that it is very tough to bat after the Powerplay. Further says that Kane Williamson played a superb knock and he is a champion player. Dhawan also says that Warner did not complete that run and it favoured them in the Super Over. Praises the bowling unit for doing very well.
Prithvi Shaw is named the Man of the Match. He says that he enjoyed his innings. Adds that it was a good wicket to bat at the start. Mentions that the wicket was becoming slower and it was helping the spinners. Further says that 160 was defendable but it was a close game. Shaw praises Williamson for his excellent knock and also praises Axar Patel for bowling well in the Super Over.
Steven Smith is up for a chat. He says that they played some good cricket today. Adds that they are happy with the victory. Mentions that you need to stay in the middle to play on this wicket. Smith also says that he tried to overhit the ball rather than timing it. Further says that Williamson played a smart innings and took the game deep. Smith also says that they were fortunate to get over the line.
David Warner, the Hyderabad skipper, says that it has been a tough loss for them. Adds that if you lose your first wicket early then it becomes difficult in the middle. Mentions that the bowlers did well to restrict Delhi. On Manish Pandey being left out, Warner says that it was the selector's call and it was harsh to drop him. Further says that you cannot discredit Virat Singh as he is a very good batsman and the surface was very challenging.
The Delhi bowling was impressive. Their spinners did a very good job and Avesh Khan once again showed that he has come a long way. Kagiso Rabada though was not at his best and the last over that he bowled was very disappointing. In the end, Axar’s 6 balls in the Super Over and Pant’s outrageous batting took Delhi over the line.
We got to feel bad for Kane Williamson though, what a knock he played! Fought a lone battle, kept losing partners but from a losing position, he gave his side a chance. A word of praise for Jagadeesha Suchith as well as his fireworks at the death made Williamson's job a bit easier, however, they failed to get one extra run to win the match.
Finally, the game comes to an end and it is Delhi who have finished on top. We believe they were the better side throughout and a well-deserved win for them. This is now their third win in a row and their season is going great guns now.

DELHI WIN THE SUPER OVER ON THE LAST BALL! This has pitched outside leg. It is the googly, Dhawan looks to sweep but misses. It hits the pad. An appeal but turned down. It rolls on the off side and they go for one. The fielder hits the stumps at the striker's end. It is referred and replays show that Pant is in.

NOT OUT! Scores level! That is going down leg. The leg spinner. It lands on leg and then spins in. Pant looks to go for the slog sweep but misses to get hit on the pads. They sneak one as it goes on the off side. Hyderabad review and replays show that the on-field call is the right one. Another leg bye.
Review time! An appeal for lbw! Rishabh Pant is the man in question. Ultra Edge shows there is no bat involved. Ball Tracker shows that it is the umpire's call on impact and the ball is missing the stumps.

Rashid Khan To Rishabh Pant
A dot! On off, it is the googly, Rishabh looks to make room and go over covers but gets an inside edge onto the body. 2 in 2.

Rashid Khan To Rishabh Pant
FOUR! This is where all your skills come into play! Rashid is not an easy bowler to get away but Pant shows his class there as he reverse-smacks a full ball over short third man for a boundary. Off the top edge it went but Rishabh was in control. Two needed more.
