Time to pose with the trophy! Happy faces everywhere. We are done with this short series. Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Looking forward to your company for future series. Don't forget to join us on Thursday (1st August 2019) at 1100 local (1000 GMT) to watch Day 1 of the biggest rivalry in Test cricket - Ashes! Until then, it's goodbye and cheers!
Sri Lankan skipper, Dimuth Karunaratne says that they all wanted to do good and have done a good job. Mentions that a few new players were tried today and they fared well. Adds that they were planning to do the basics right, for the bowlers to stick to good lines and lengths and for the batsmen to capitalize on the starts. On his captaincy, Karunaratne replies that he is still learning and thanks all the senior and junior guys for supporting him. Tells that they have to switch on to the Test series and are ready for the challenge against New Zealand. Appreciates the crowd for all the support.
Nuwan Kulasekara is given a token of appreciation by Sri Lankan cricket and the ministry of sports. Time for a farewell speech - Kulasekara has a big smile on his face and he is greeted with a big cheer from the crowd. He starts by thanking everyone including his family. Rest of his speech is difficult to understand as it's in his local language.
Bangladesh skipper, Tamim Iqbal says that Taijul was a real positive for them in the series but adds that there are a lot of negatives as well including his personal form. Mentions that responsibility is the key and it's disappointing to see that the senior players have not taken it upon themselves. On his form, Tamim replies that he has let himself down starting from the World Cup. Tells that he tried hard but probably he wasn't good enough. Wants to go back, take some time off, work on his game and return strong.
ANGELO MATHEWS IS THE MAN OF THE MATCH AND SERIES! He starts by thanking Kulasekara and calls him a silent hero. He wishes him all the best. Further says that while batting he was looking to build partnerships and is content that he managed to get good totals for his team in the series. Tells that the pitches they played on were quite slow and with bigger boundaries, scoring runs wasn't easy. Adds that he just wanted to stay positive. Feels that each and every player goes through these kinds of phases (talking about his lean patch) and you use your experience and trust your ability to come out of it. Admits that it has been a disappointing few months for the team but is delighted with this series win. Hopes to start fresh from here and he is looking forward to the New Zealand series.
Sri Lankan players are giving Nuwan Kulasekara a guard of honour. An emotional moment for him as he walks in with his wife and kids. As always, Percy is there giving him company.
Dasun Shanaka is caught up for a quick interview. Says that after getting dropped, he worked hard on his game and trained a lot with his coaches which helped him. Dasun tells that he has full confidence in his batting and that helped him in his bowling too. Admits it has been a good day for them and they are happy with the result. Hopes that this series win will help them build momentum for future games.
A completely one-sided match! Sri Lanka posted a big total on the board, mainly due to the onslaught in the last 10 overs by their batsmen. In pursuit, Bangladesh never got going. Leaving alone Soumya Sarkar, the batting meekly surrendered and didn't put up any fight. Taijul Islam had some fun towards the end and reduced the defeat margin with his entertaining knock. Just like their batting, Sri Lanka's bowling was also right on the money. Especially, their pacers were brilliant and picked seven wickets combined. Dasun Shanaka stood out with three wickets and it was a good all-round performance by him as it was his 14-ball 30 knock that provided the much-needed impetus to the Sri Lankan innings in the death overs.
A match dedicated to Nuwan Kulasekara and Sri Lanka have made it a truly memorable one with this convincing victory. Lasith Malinga also got a winning farewell in the first ODI and another servant of Sri Lankan cricket is given a good parting gift.

Wanindu Hasaranga To Taijul Islam OUT!
OUT! Rubel Hossain is run out! SRI LANKA WIN BY 122 RUNS AND TAKE THE SERIES 3-0! A fuller length ball on middle and leg, Taijul helps it off his pads to square leg and calls his partner for a quick run. Rubel responds and in the meantime, Karunaratne fires in a good throw to the keeper. Perera does the rest and catches Rubel short of the crease. The third umpire confirms the same. The Lankan players are delighted and shaking hands in the middle.

Wanindu Hasaranga To Shafiul Islam OUT!
OUT! No Shafiul is out of his crease and that's why Perera was so confident. Wanindu strikes on his very first ball. Leg spinner pitching on off and it spins away from Shafiul. He looks to have a whack at it but misses. Kusal Perera takes the bails off in a flash. He is confident that he has his man. The square leg umpire takes it upstairs and the replays show Shafiul was outside the crease.
Stumping appeal taken upstairs. Kusal Perera is confident. Let's see if Shafiul is in.
