That's all from this match. Hope you enjoyed our commentary. But it's a double header and the next match is of utmost importance. If this was a dead rubber the next one is a knockout. India take on Australia and the winner will qualify for the semis. Join us at 1930 IST. Until then, take care and ciao.
West Indies captain, DARREN SAMMY says he is very disappointed today but they won't let it dampen their spirits. Thinks that Afghanistan played well today. Adds that his team needs to play sensibly to chase down such small totals in future. Further says that now they will have to do well in Mumbai against India or Australia. Adds that they cannot afford any loss now and have to regroup and get back into the momentum. Ends by saying that both, his team and the women's team have entered the semis on back of three wins and that makes him happy.
Afghanistan captain, ASGHAR STANIKZAI thanks the Almighty who helped them win this match. Adds it was important to win as they missed their chances earlier against England and Sri Lanka. Says they were short by a few runs today but his boys played well to win. Adds that they bowled and fielded well and Najibullah was superb. Thinks that it was unfortunate to lose before and they just need to get a bit of experience and with Inzaman as their coach, that should be helpful. Ends by saying it feels good to beat West Indies as they are a dangerous team in T20I and thanks the supporters as well.
The Man of the Match is NAJIBULLAH ZADRAN but he doesn't come to the presentation as he was injured in the final over. Stanikzai accepts the award on his behalf.
On the other hand, Windies were just throwing wickets in a hurry by playing needless shots. Only Ramdin and Bravo threaded a good partnership of 41 runs but couldn't snatch a win. The Afghans were in full energy, winning their first match in Super 10s while Windies were not impressive and were handed their first loss. What a massive upset! Presentation next up.
Outstanding performance by the high-flying Afghans today. They were average in batting and only managed to put a decent total. But their bowlers were terrific to upset the Caribbeans. Gayle was missing today and Afghans roared like the lions. Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers who took two wickets and was backed well by the others.

Mohammad Nabi To Carlos Brathwaite OUT!
OUT! That should help Afghanistan to seal this contest. Najibullah did it with the bat and now has taken a stunner to help his team out. Nabi serves a low full toss on middle and leg. Brathwaite looks for a slog hit over mid-wicket. Zadran covers a lot of ground from mid-wicket and takes a superb catch to get the dangerman. He seems to have hurt himself but like it's said - No pain, no gain! 10 runs needed off three deliveries.

Samiullah Shinwari To Andre Russell OUT!
OUT! RUN OUT! What a mess here. Loopy delivery outside off, Russell plays it over point but he was imbalanced. The fielder has to cover big ground to collect the ball and Sammy calls for the second run. Russell at the non-striker's end slips again while turning for the second. Rashid throws with power to the keeper but the shy was needed at the non-striker's end. Shahzad was quite alert and threw it to the stumps and hits the bails. Replays show that Russell is out even with a dive.
Third umpire is referred to for a run out appeal.
