Earlier in the day, excellent camoes from the likes of Oliver Davies, Sams and Alex Ross took Thunder upto a huge score. Colin Munro was on a mission to chase it down but the Thunder bowlers kept their cool and ensured it is their side which finishes on top.
Thunder made excellent use of the new ball and got early wickets. The key for Sydney Thunder was wickets at regular intervals. Whenever a partnership was building they managed to strike. Especially the likes of Green and Sams. Usman Qadir was excellent towards the end. Brendan Doggett had a day to forget as he was taken to the cleaners but the others were really good.
What a game in the end! Have to feel sorry for Colin Munro who played so well but just did not get the support he would have wanted from the other side. Credit though to the Sydney Thunder bowlers, it was not easy to bowl in this conditions but they have been brilliant and have helped their side over the line.
