43.3 OUT! Caught behind! No double ton for Rohit Sharma as Sheldon Cottrell salutes for the first time in this innings. He completes his celebration and then pats on the back of the centurion. Good length ball just outside off, Rohit looks to cut but manages a faint outside edge which goes behind. Hope pouches it comfortably and Rohit departs. Something to celebrate for Cottrell in this game. 292/3

KL Rahul | 102 | 104 | 8 | 3 | 98.07 |
c Roston Chase b Alzarri Joseph
37 OUT! Caught! Century and gone! The massive stand is broken. Short and wide outside off, Rahul looks to cut but slices it towards Roston Chase at third man. He makes no mistake. Rahul walks off and as he walks off, he gets a tap on his head from his partner at the other end. 227/1

Virat Kohli C | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
c Roston Chase b Kieron Pollard
37.3 OUT! In the air... taken! Kohli can't believe what just happened! He walks off with a smile on his face. Stunned silence here in the stadium and Pollard, the Windies skipper gets his opposite number. A slower short ball and on middle, Kohli seems to not have picked it. He looks to pull but then is early in the shot. He then tries to gently pull it on the leg side but there is tennis ball bounce on it. It lobs off the top edge towards Chase who takes a tumbling catch at mid-wicket. A golden duck for Kohli, you do not see that often. Two wickets in quick succession. Windies looking to crawl back into the game. 232/2

Shreyas Iyer | 53 | 32 | 3 | 4 | 165.62 |
c Shai Hope b Sheldon Cottrell
49 OUT! Caught down the leg side. It never looked like there was an edge but Hope and Cottrell were sure. A good length ball which again is down the leg side. Iyer goes for the pull but the ball takes the inside edge and goes behind. The bowler and the keeper appeal and the umpire agrees. However, Iyer had started walking straightaway. End of a brilliant knock. 373/5

Rishabh Pant Wk | 39 | 16 | 3 | 4 | 243.75 |
c Nicholas Pooran b Keemo Paul
47.3 OUT! CAUGHT! End of the entertainment! It was brilliant till the time it lasted. Pant walks off after a brilliant cameo. Paul bowls a slower one around off, Pant looks to carve it over the off side but ends up splicing it towards covers. Pooran in the deep, runs in and takes a good catch. A brilliant partnership comes to an end. It has given India a real chance to get to 400. Unlucky he did not get to a fifty, he deserved one here, struck the ball fiercely. Nevertheless, it is a knock his team would be very happy about. 365/4

c Shreyas Iyer b Shardul Thakur
11 OUT! Caught! Lewis departs! Shardul rolls his wrists and bangs it short around off, Lewis goes for the pull but gets a top edge. There's a lot of height but no distance. It goes towards deep square leg where Iyer settles himself and takes the catch easily. 61/1

Shai Hope Wk | 78 | 85 | 7 | 3 | 91.76 |
c Virat Kohli b Kuldeep Yadav
32.4 OUT! Caught! What a splendid take from the skipper and no third consecutive ODI ton for Hope. He has gobbled it right at the edge at deep mid-wicket. Full and on middle, Hope goes for the slog sweep and connects. It seems like it will go sailing over but Kohli at the edge of the boundary at deep mid-wicket takes a nicely judged catch and keeps himself inside the ropes. Brilliant work. 210/6

Shimron Hetmyer | 4 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 57.14 |
run out (Shreyas Iyer)
13.1 RUN OUT! Brilliant, brilliant from Iyer! Wow! That is actually majestic to be honest. That stop and then the throw. Outstanding. Take a bow, young man. Did it with the bat early on and now with the ball. Jadeja bowls a short ball outside off, Hetmyer cuts it through point. It seems a certain boundary but Iyer from cover-point hares after it. He does not give up, slides and pushes it back in just before the ball crosses the ropes. The batters take two by then. They go for the third. Iyer gets back to his feet quickly, comes back into the field, picks the ball up and throws it to the bowler. Jadeja collects it and dislodges the bails at his end. Hetmyer is well short. Huge wicket this, we saw in the last game how destructive Hetmyer can be. West Indies in big trouble now. 315 more needed in 221 balls. 73/2

Roston Chase | 4 | 9 | 0 | 0 | 44.44 |
b Ravindra Jadeja
16 OUT! TIMBER! That is a gem of a delivery from Jadeja to get the better of Chase! A dream delivery for a left arm spinner against a right-hander. Just unplayable. Also, it is so difficult to adjust to the turn on the pace at which Jadeja is bowling. This is flatter and around leg, Chase goes back and looks to defend but the ball grips and turns away. It goes past the outside edge and hits the stumps behind. West Indies slip further. 86/3

|||||
Nicholas Pooran | 75 | 47 | 6 | 6 | 159.57 |
c Kuldeep Yadav b Mohammed Shami
29.2 OUT! In the air... taken and the Indians breathe a huge sigh of a relief! This stand really started to worry them. Pooran walks back after a top-class innings. Kept the Windies hopes alive of chasing this down but he needed to last longer. The short ball does the trick for the hosts. Shami bangs it short and it is on middle. Pooran looks to pull but the ball gets big on him. He gets a top edge towards fine leg where Kuldeep takes a good catch. 196 more needed in 124 balls. 192/4
|
|||||
Kieron Pollard C | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
c Rishabh Pant b Mohammed Shami
29.3 OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! A first-baller for the Windies captain, just like his opposite number. Is that the end of the run chase? Maybe. They needed something special from Kieron but he fails to last for more than one ball. Shami proves to be the game changer for the hosts. This is full and around off, Pollard looks to drive but gets an outside edge. Pant takes it on the second attempt. The crowd has found its voice back. 192/5

Jason Holder | 11 | 13 | 0 | 1 | 84.61 |
st Rishabh Pant b Kuldeep Yadav
32.5 OUT! Two in two for Kuldeep and West Indies are crashing. This was always on the cards though. Brilliant from Kuldeep to beat Holder with this flighted ball outside off. Holder goes for the drive but misses as the ball spins away. Pant, behind the wicket collects the ball and whips the bails off in a jiffy. He along with Kuldeep celebrate as the umpire signals for the third umpire. Holder though is walking off. Here comes the replays, yes, keep walking Holder as the replays confirm that his back leg is in the air. 210/7
|
|||||
Keemo Paul | 46 | 42 | 4 | 3 | 109.52 |
b Mohammed Shami
43.3 OUT! Hits the timber and it's all over! Shami bowls a brilliant yorker on middle, Paul is backing away to slash it through the off side. He misses and Shami hits the base of the middle stump. India win by 107 runs and go 1-1 in the 3-match series. 280/10
|
|||||
Alzarri Joseph | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 | |
c Kedar Jadhav b Kuldeep Yadav
33 OUT! Caught at slip and it's second ODI hat-trick for Kuldeep Yadav. First Indian to have two ODI hat-tricks. What an over this is turning out for the Indians. A full ball outside off, Joseph goes for the drive. It catches the outside edge and goes low towards Jadhav at second slip. He gobbles it nicely just above the turf. Kuldeep celebrates running like Tahir. 210/8
|
|||||
Khary Pierre | 21 | 18 | 3 | 0 | 116.66 |
c Virat Kohli b Ravindra Jadeja
40.5 OUT! Caught! No. 9 goes down now. Flighted ball on middle, Pierre goes for the slog sweep but the timing is not there. It goes as far as Kohli at deep mid-wicket who takes the catch easily to end this frustrating stand. 260/9
