c Pat Cummins b Ashton Agar
7.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the fielder. Agar gets the big wicket. It is not a wicket-taking ball. It is short and around middle, but Buttler there is in two minds. He is not sure if he should club it over the fence or just work around for a quick single or couple. He ends up playing the pull short half heartedly. He ends up giving a simple chance to Cummins at deep mid-wicket. A brilliant hand from Buttler comes to an end. 64/2

Jonny Bairstow | 8 | 7 | 1 | 0 | 114.28 |
c Mitchell Starc b Pat Cummins
4 OUT! CAUGHT! That is a masterstroke from Finch and Australia. Made the adjustment before the ball and it pays of immediately. They got the third man inside the ring, just wide of the gully region and a bit deep in the ring. Cummins follows the plan and bowls a shortish ball around off, Bairstow is on the back foot to defend but the ball takes thick outside edge and goes straight to Starc. Australia get the first wicket and it is that man Cummins who has done it for them, like he has done so many times. 43/1

Dawid Malan | 66 | 43 | 5 | 3 | 153.48 |
c Steven Smith b Kane Richardson
18.1 OUT! CAUGHT! Another fine catch and Malan's fine innings comes to an end. It doesn't look like the Aussies are on the field nearly after 6 months. Excellent catching from them. Shortish and outside off, pace off once again from Richardson. Malan looks to club it over long off but doesn't time it well at all and ends up hitting it uppishly wide of the long off fielder. Smith there moves to his right and takes an excellent catch. These are tough catches but Smith made it look so very easy. 147/7

Tom Banton | 8 | 10 | 1 | 0 | 80 |
c Aaron Finch b Ashton Agar
9.5 OUT! That's a great take from the Australian skipper! England and Agar have got another one. But the credit here has to be given to the Aussie skipper. Tossed up ball around off, Banton skips down the track to hammer it over long off but the ball takes the top edge and goes high in the air. Finch from the cover position hares back, keeps his eyes on the ball and then stretches full length to hold onto the catch. England losing their way here. 74/3

Eoin Morgan C | 5 | 3 | 1 | 0 | 166.66 |
c Steven Smith b Glenn Maxwell
11.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust. Australia all over England now. Another very good catch and this time it is Smith. In form Morgan departs now. Tossed up ball around off, Morgan skips down the track and looks to go inside out but ends up slicing it high in the air towards mid off. Smith from long on hares forward, like his skipper who took the catch earlier, keeps his eyes on the ball and manages to hold on a tough catch. 91/4

Moeen Ali | 2 | 6 | 0 | 0 | 33.33 |
c Adam Zampa b Glenn Maxwell
13.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Maxwell strikes again and England lose another one. Tossed up ball around off, Moeen goes for the pre-mediated reverse sweep but does not get the timing he wanted and ends up getting a top edge. It goes towards Zampa at short third man who settles under the ball and takes the skier easily. 108/5

|||||
Tom Curran | 6 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 60 |
c Ashton Agar b Kane Richardson
16.5 OUT! CAUGHT! Terrific bowling from Kane. He once again rolls his fingers and bowls it short and wide outside off, Curran looks to slam it over the fence on the off side but he finds the deep cover fielder to perfection. Agar there takes the catch nicely. Signals later that he didn't sight it well but it doesn't matter as he has held onto it. 124/6

b Jofra Archer
15.2 OUT! TIMBER! Warner goes now and it is game on! Two new batters out in the middle. It's a leg stump yorker from Archer. Warner tries to make room and squeezes it through the off side. He misses but the ball doesn't. It hits his pad and then the base of the leg stump. 129/4

Aaron Finch C | 46 | 32 | 7 | 1 | 143.75 |
c Chris Jordan b Jofra Archer
11 OUT! CAUGHT! Soft dismissal. Archer kept bowling the bouncers and then suddenly dished one full and outside off. Finch clears his front leg and tries to loft it over mid off but fails to time it at all. Jordan at mid off gobbles the chance and helps England get the first wicket. 65 needed in 9 overs. 98/1

Steven Smith | 18 | 11 | 2 | 1 | 163.63 |
c Jonny Bairstow b Adil Rashid
14.2 OUT! CAUGHT! Rashid strikes in his final over! Tossed up ball outside off, Smith looks to slog sweep but doesn't time it at all. He ends up getting a top edge that goes high in the air towards deep square leg. Bairstow from deep mid-wicket gets across to his right and takes a fine catch. 124/2

Glenn Maxwell | 1 | 2 | 0 | 0 | 50 |
c Eoin Morgan b Adil Rashid
15 OUT! CAUGHT! WOW! Another one goes and Rashid has his second on the last ball of his spell. He took his sweet time to face the last ball of the over but now has been dismissed. Tossed up outside off, Maxwell looks to slam it over extra cover but ends up giving a catch to the fielder instead. Rashid is done for the day. 29/2 in his 4-over spell. Another wicket quickly and England might think they can turn this game around. 36 needed in final 5. 127/3

b Mark Wood
16.3 OUT! BOWLED! Carey goes now and this game is turning on it's head. It is England's wicket-taking bowlers who keep knocking one after another. A shortish ball around off, this is angled in from Wood. Carey is on the back foot to defend but is beaten for inside edge. The ball hits his thigh pad and then canons on the stumps. 133/5

Ashton Agar | 4 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 80 |
run out (Chris Jordan)
19 OUT! That is run out! WOW! What an effort from Jordan. Poor from Australia. Fuller ball around the pads, Stoinis whacks across the line only to miss the ball and gets hit on the pads. Jordan initially starts appealing but then realizes the batsmen are going for a run. He gets to the ball and hits the stumps at the keeper's end. There is an appeal for a run out. It is referred upstairs. First the LBW is checked which shows that the on-field call is the right one and England lose a review. Now time to check the run out. Replays show that Agar has his bat on the line. Ashton Agar walks back to the pavilion. 148/6
