Abbott bowls this on good length and outside off, Devon Conway leans on to drive it but hits it uppishly towards point where Steven Smith takes a low catch diving forward. However, Conway is not sure but Smith is claiming it. The umpires sends it upstairs to check and the soft signal is Not Out. The first replay shows that the fingers are under the ball, but it is still not clear. The front on angle shows that the ball bounced up off his fingers as Smith complete the catch on the tumble. The umpire is satisfied and he says that it is Out and the on field decision is changed. This does not happen often when the soft signal is reversed, but this time it looks like the right call. Devon Conway is not happy with the decision, but he has to make the long walk back. New Zealand lose their first wicket. 49/1

27.3 OUT! RUN OUT! A misunderstanding in the middle and New Zealand skipper has to go back now. This is short and outside off, Glenn Phillips cuts it towards deep point for a single. However, Kane Williamson wants the second and takes a couple of steps down the pitch, Phillips also responds, but he sends Willliamson back mid way through. Marnus Labuschagne from the deep throws in towards the keeper and Alex Carey does the rest as Kane Williamson is in no man's land. A crazy way to lose another wicket and New Zealand have now lost half their side. 112/5

17.4 OUT! STUMPED! A very unlucky way to get out, but Latham has to go back to the hut. Zampa bowls this quicker and flatter, on leg, Tom Latham skips down the track to work it away to the leg side. However, he misses his flick, and the ball goes onto hit his front leg, then hits the back pad and goes towards the keeper. Alex Carey waits for the ball to come to him and then shatters the stumps. They appeal for the stumping, and the umpire sends it upstairs. The replay shows that Latham put in a desperate dive but is still well short of his crease when the stumps were broken. 24.5 OUT! CAUGHT! The partnership has been broken and Daryl Mitchell has to depart! Josh Hazlewood bangs this in short and just outside off, Daryl Mitchell goes for the pull but only gets a top edge that flies high towards cover-point. He does not even look at the ball as he know he is gone here. Steven Smith setteles under this and takes a really easy catch. Everytime New Zealand look like they are getting a move on, a wicket falls and ushes them back again. 106/4

45.4 OUT! TAKEN! A great catch under pressure in the deep and this could prove to be the turning point of the game as Glenn Phillips goes back to the hut. Mitchell Starc serves this full and on leg, Glenn Phillips stays there and slogs it. However, he fails to get under the ball and hits it high up in the air towards deep square leg. Sean Abbott there judges it well to pouch it safely, but as he took it he realises that he is going over the ropes and relaeses the ball in the air to take it back inside the ropes. The umpires are not sure and sends it upstairs to check. Teh replays shows that Abbott did well to release the ball just in time when he went over the ropes and took it cleanly afterwards. Everyone is glued to the big screen as this is a huge moment in the game, and the Australians are delighted as OUT is displayed on the screen. 224/7
