The boxing competition at Asian Games 2014 in Incheon on Tuesday was gripped by controversy as two Indians and a Mongolian lost their fights against South Korean opponents. India's Sarita Devi lost her lightweight semifinal against Jina
Park. Many thought Sarita had won the bout by a handsome margin, but the judges thought otherwise. Devendro Singh also lost his quarterfinal fight against a Korean and there were murmurs that the fights were fixed. The Indians and the Mongolians protested, but the results stood in favour of the Koreans. Judging boxing bouts has always been difficult but Tuesday's controversial results have certainly tarnished the Games.
