|Full Name||Shiva Thapa|
|Born||December 08, 1993|
|Age||29 Years, 11 Months, 27 Days|
The 28-year-old from Assam is also one of the medal hopes for India from the eight-member boxing squad that will be competing at the Commonwealth Games 2022. He is the youngest Indian boxer to qualify for Olympics with his appearance in 2012 London Games.
Thapa rose to prominence after winning a bronze medal in the 2015 World Championships but he has failed to win any medal in multi-sports events like the Olympics, Asia Games and Commonwealth Games.
An experienced boxer now, Thapa will be looking to overcome the jinx of not performing well in big events and win his maiden Commonwealth Games medal.
His career has been rather underwhelming so far although he remains one of the most gifted boxers from India and could change the graph of his career with a medal in Birmingham.
