MC Mary Kom, Sarita Devi To Represent India in 12th South Asian Games
While Asian Games gold medallist MC Mary Kom beat Sarjubala Devi in the fly weight category to claim the South Asian Games spot, Sarita Devi ousted a spirited Soniya (RSPB) in the light weight category.

MC Mary Kom, L Sarita Devi and Pooja Rani are all set to represent India in the upcoming 12th South Asian Games 2016 to be held in Guwahati and Shillong. (Click here for latest Boxing stories)
The trio emerged triumphant in the final round bouts of their respective weight categories during the South Asain Games Test event and Elite Women's National Boxing Selection trial held at the NEHU, SAI Special Area Games in Shillong on Friday.
While Asian Games gold medallist Mary Kom beat Sarjubala Devi in the fly weight category to claim the SAG spot, Sarita Devi ousted a spirited Soniya (RSPB) in the light weight category.
Lalita Gurung and Nikhit Zareen took the bronze in the fly weight category while Meena Kumari and Lal Buatsahi won bronze in light weight category.
Pooja Rani bagged the honours in the middle weight category beating the famed Aruna Mishra by an unanimous 3-0 decision by the judges.
Monika and Aarti Bhonsle took bronze medals.
