Melbourne:
Even though Australia pledged to send its largest ever contingent for 2010 Commonwealth Games, former world number one tennis player Lleyton Hewitt is doubtful for the October 3-14 mega event in New Delhi.
The two-time Grand Slam winner, who was the first to opt out of Australia's Davis Cup tie in Chennai this year citing security reasons, hinted he might skip the New Delhi event since it also clashed with another tennis tournament in Tokyo.
"I think it's the same week as a tournament I play in Tokyo every year so it's a difficult choice for me," Hewitt was quoted as saying in an Australian Associated Press report.
"I've got a lot of issues - ATP ranking, there's a lot of contract things as well. There's a whole heap up in the air for me," Hewitt said.Â
