Archer Ojas Pravin Deotale and Archery Team High Performance Director, Sanjeeva Singh, were all smiles after India reached the 100-medal mark in the Asian Games 2023.

Ojas Pravin Deotale said, "I had come with the motive to win one gold medal for India, but after winning three gold medals, it feels as if I am in a dream... I would like to congratulate other players as well. 100 (medals) is a big number for India... It feels proud that India is growing... The Indian government, coaches, my parents, and all the supporting staff are behind this gold medal." Sanjeeva Singh said.

"The performance of archers was very good...This is the first time that we have won all five gold medals in the compound category...Before this, the highest gold medals in archery were four: one gold, one silver, and two bronze in 2014... Now we have won five gold, two silver, and two bronze... This was going to happen (reaching the 100-meter mark)...It is the result of four years of hard work," he added.
