Earlier, Ellyse Perry continued slammed an unbeaten fifty, while Richa Ghosh chipped in with a quickfire knock as Royal Challengers Bangalore recovered from three early wickets to post a challenging total of 150/4. Perry remained unbeaten on 67 off 52 balls, while Richa was dismissed on 37 by Shikha Pandey, who was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3/23. Earlier, Delhi Capitals captain Meg Lanning won the toss and opted to bowl against RCB.

Delhi will be a bit upset with how things ended up for them. Let me remind you that Bangalore were reeling at 68/3 inside 14 overs and they scored 82 runs in the remaining 6 overs. Shikha Pandey was the pick of the bowlers as she chipped in with three wickets and was very economical. Tara Norris picked up one wicket but was a bit expensive for her liking. Marizanne Kapp was the most economical of all but she remained wicketless.

Bangalore were under the pump all throughout their innings but they geared up at the end really well. They will be thankful to Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh who stitched a partnership of 74 runs off 34 deliveries and made them reach a good total of 150 runs. The former scored an unbeaten knock of 67 runs while the latter was dismissed on 37 runs.
