Mexico became the first team to qualify for the FIFA World Cup knockout stage after a 1-0 victory over South Korea. Luis Romo scored the only goal in the 50th minute following a defensive error by the South Korean goalkeeper, helping Mexico secure back-to-back wins and top Group A with six points.
