For South Africa, Marco Jansen was the pick of South African bowlers with his four wickets, Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada picked three wickets each. Tied 1-1 in the three-match series, both teams will be aiming to win the ongoing third Test to clinch the series.

It's all about creating an impact when I'm out there and do something for the team. At the end of the day, I want my performance to be counted in a way that it helps the team to win," said Shardul Thakur ahead of start of Day 3.
