Neeraj Chopra became the first Indian to win a gold medal in athletics at the Olympic Games on Saturday but the 23-year-old said the pressure of delivering at the biggest stage didn't get to him. Speaking at a virtual press conference after his 87.58m throw saw him secure the men's javelin throw title at the Tokyo Olympics, Chopra said, "Because I had participated in a few international competitions, I didn't feel any pressure in the final. It also helps when your first throw lands well. I felt confident after that first throw (of 87.03m)," he said.
