Star bags Indian cricket TV rights for Rs. 40 crores per match

Star TV has bagged the rights to broadcast cricket matches to be held in India for the next six years, the BCCI announced on Monday. The Indian Cricket Board has confirmed that the Star will pay Rs. 3851 crore for 96 matches to be played from July 2012 to March 2018. Which means each match will cost them Rs. 40 crore. This also includes internet rights and domestic cricket.
