India's Sharon Rachel Aby has won gold in the Asian Chess Championship for women with physical disabilities. The Class X student from Chennai battles a rare spinal condition called Muscular Atrophy, which has resulted in 90% disability. Her family is seeking support for her treatment, which costs up to Rs 80 lakh per year to prevent further decline in her condition.
