The 3 member probe committee appointed by the Supreme Court to investigate the IPL spot fixing scandal has made it's first big move. It has invited people who might have any information about Gurunath Meiyappan's involvement to come forward and let the panel know. The committee headed by former Punjab and Haryana Chief Justice Mukul Mudgal met for the first time in New Delhi on the 11th of October. People have been asked to mail any information they might have on Meiyappan and the other persons accused. The informants will be called for a hearing only if the committee thinks it's needed. The identity of the informants will be kept confidential.
