Delhi Test: Lankans Complain About Pollution, Board Asks BCCI To Explain

As Sri Lankan players complained about poor air quality today during the ongoing Test match at Delhi's Feroz Shah Kotla, their Board has asked its Indian counterpart, the BCCI, to explain why the national capital was chosen as the venue for the match, sources have told NDTV. The play was halted for 17 minutes in the post-lunch session after the visitors, led by their skipper Dinesh Chandimal, wanted to leave the field of play complaining of severe pollution. The Lankans were seen wearing anti-pollution masks during the post-lunch session. The play was halted between 12:32 pm to 12:49 pm after which the umpires and match referee David Boon convinced them to continue.
