Jike Zhang claims men's title at worlds
China's Jike Zhang beat fellow countryman Hao Wang 4-2 to clinch his first men's title at the table tennis world championships on Sunday.

China's Jike Zhang beat fellow countryman Hao Wang 4-2 to clinch his first men's title at the table tennis world championships on Sunday.
The 23-year-old Zhang, who earlier eliminated second-seeded Timo Boll of Germany, came through 12-10, 11-7, 6-11, 9-11, 11-5 and 14-12.
In another all-Chinese affair, the women's doubles title went to Yue Guo and Xiaoxia Li after beating compatriots Ning Ding and Yan Guo 4-0 (11-8, 11-5, 13-11, 11-8).
Ding Ning, also of China, won the women's singles title Saturday by defeating compatriot and top seeded Li Xiaoxia 4-2 (12-10, 13-11, 11-9, 8-11, 8-11, 11-7).
