Indian men's freestyle wrestling team rounded off a superb campaign in the Dave Schultz Memorial International tournament, winning four medals, including a gold by Praveen Rana, at Colorado Springs in the USA.
The Indian freestyle wrestlers started their 2014 season on a resounding note by producing best performance ever in the championship.
Rana won his gold medal in 74kg category, while Amit Kumar Dahiya's silver medal came in 57kg.
Sandeep Tomar and Bajrang also put on impressive show, winning bronze in 57kg and 61kg, respectively.
Indian grapplers will now be seen competing in the Greco Roman style.
This was the first time that the grapplers competed in the higher weight categories in the tournament after the new weight addition for the FILA competitions, World Cups and Golden Grand Prix championships.
FILA had tweaked the 18 weight divisions in Geneva last December, and the rule changes and competition format came into effect from January 1, 2014.
