Paralympic medalist Girisha to get job at Sports Authority of India: Maken
London Paralympics silver medalist Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda will be offered a job at the Sports Authority of India, Sports Minister Ajay Maken said on Wednesday.

London Paralympics silver medalist Girisha Hosanagara Nagarajegowda will be offered a job at the Sports Authority of India, Sports Minister Ajay Maken said on Wednesday.
After declaring that Girisha will be honoured with a cash award of Rs 30 lakh, Maken has now made another announcement which will make the Para athlete happier.
Girisha had earlier said the he hopes of getting a job after his achievement.
"Paralympic Silver Medalist Nagaraj to be offered a job of coach in Sports Authority of India at an officer level!," Maken wrote on his twitter page.
Maken had said on Tuesday that all the medal winners at the Paralympics will be given the same amount of reward money, which was disbursed to the achievers at the Olympics Games.
Girisha opened India's medal account at the Paralympics when he finishing second in the Men's High Jump F42 event.
