A contingent of 200 physically and partially mentally challenged athletes will represent India at the Special Olympics World Summer Games at Athens in Greece from June 25 to July 4.

Jamshedpur:

A contingent of 200 physically and partially mentally challenged athletes will represent India at the Special Olympics World Summer Games at Athens in Greece from June 25 to July 4.

The team will take part in 12 disciplines including badminton, cycling, athletics, aquatics, basketball, football, roller skating, table tennis, handball and volleyball, the Chairman of the Special Olympics Bharat (SOB), Air Marshal (Retd) Denzil Keelor, said on Friday.

He said it was the largest ever team taking part in the games from India.
