Lee Hyun-il of South Korea has lost the badminton bronze-medal playoff in a second straight Olympic Games.
Lee was beaten by Chen Long of China 21-15, 15-21, 21-15 in 80 minutes on Sunday.
Lee lost to another Chinese, Chen Jin, in the Beijing playoff then retired. But South Korean officials persuaded him to play again to help the 2010 Thomas Cup team.
