Telugu Titans made short work of Bengaluru Bulls as they notched up a 32-24 victory to go fourth in the league table of Pro Kabaddi League Season 4 on Tuesday.
Rahul Chaudhry scored nine raid points and Sandeep Narwal scored five tackle points to lay the foundations for Titans' win. Titans had lost the first leg to Bulls in front of their home crowd in Hyderabad.
Telugu Titans jumped to fourth spot with their fourth win of the season and have 24 points after eight games. Bengaluru Bulls remain in fifth position with 20 points from eight games.
Telugu Titans Rohit Kumar scored with his first raid in the second minute to open the home side's account.
Nilesh Salunke scored two points with a do-or-die raid in the fourth minute as Telugu Titans took a 4-1 lead. Bengaluru Bulls were reduced to one man in the seventh minute and suffered an all out as Telugu Titans stormed into a 10-1 lead.
Telugu Titans kept up the pressure and maintained a 10-point lead after 14 minutes. Bengaluru raider Rohit Kumar scored a super raid in the last minute of first half and brought his team back into the game as they went into the second half trailing 10-16.
Bengaluru Bulls struggled early in the second half as their raiders drew blanks and they trailed 10-20 after 24 minutes. Bulls managed an all out in the 26th and 27th minute to cut the lead to nine points. However, the Titans inflicted the second all out in 28th minute to lead 27-16.
Telugu Titans ended any hope of a Bengaluru comeback with a super tackle in 36th minute to open up a 30-21 lead.
