Harshal Patel was the hero for Bangalore! When Faf du Plessis wanted a wicket, he went to his key bowler and Harshal proved to be the game-changer. He was the most economical of all five bowlers! Other bowlers went for runs but came back at a crucial time to grab some wickets. Other than bowling and batting, Bangalore were on top in the fielding department as well, and to be honest, Lucknow's fielding kept them away from the victory line as well.

Lucknow were always behind the eight ball as they were chasing a huge total and they were hampered down in the first over as Quinton de Kock got out. It was the stand between Hooda and Rahul that brought the impetus back as both played with calmness and control to keep the required run rate in check.
