RCB initially won the toss and elected to bat. Virat Kohli scored a half-century to help his side post a 146-run target. CSK got off to a decent start, opener Ruturaj Gaikwad remaining unbeaten. He grabbed his maiden IPL half-century, scoring 65 runs from 51 deliveries. In the bowlers' department, Sam Curran grabbed three wickets for CSK, meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal notched a dismissal in four overs. After the win, RCB are third in the table, with 14 points. Meanwhile, CSK climb to seventh with eight points.
