...THE CHASE...
-
!
Ireland Women lost 8 wickets for just 25 runs and that tells you the story. From a stage of posting 150 runs, Ireland have fallen well short. Apart from the top four, everyone went for a single-digit score. Now, the batting is done. The spinners are getting enough purchases from this pitch. Can Ireland Women replicate what England players did? We will find out soon.

Ireland could not have started a better way as the openers played some fine shots and were dealing in boundaries. England at that time looked without any answers as the runs were coming easily. However, the spinners got their rhythm lately and the wickets started to come by. It was then the over from Sophie Ecclestone where she struck twice was the turning point. There was no coming back for Ireland from there on. The spinners bossed the show as out of 10 wickets, 8 of them went to the spinners.
